Evangelizing The "Uttermost Part Of The Earth":
Antarctica, Cape Horn & Tierra Del Fuego
Dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,
Warm Christian greetings from Puerto Williams, Tierra Del Fuego, Chile! We hope this message finds all well with you.
We have been blocked by Satan several times while trying to deliver this message .
We write to you with much fear of God and trembling for what the Lord Jesus has put on our hearts. We are Pastors Ben and Monica Garrett of the Cape Horn Missionary Church and have been doing missionary work here since 1991.
Ben gave his heart to Jesus in his mother's living room in 1973 in Laguna Beach , California.
Helen Garrett was a good Christian and wanted the world to know Jesus through the fire of the Holy Spirit found in her writings, poetry and songs.
Ben published some of these poems in 1995 after Helen died at 1991 from stoke in Punta Arenas, Chile.

In December 2007, during prayer, the Lord spoke to Ben that a spark was now time for the fire of the Holy Spirit to be ignited here in Puerto Williams, Chile, the world's most southern town. [The "Confines of the Earth" 700 miles from Antarctic is Now only 5% Evangelical]
According to God's word by prophesy it is predicted that this fire will start here and spread north and to all South America, Latin America, North America and throughout the world.:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;
And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.
Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?Ezekiel 20:45-49.
Following are some scriptures that God has given us about the southern islands and the "confines of the earth":
"Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say, 'He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock' (Jeremiah 31:10).
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea. "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious." It shall come to pass in that day That the LORD shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea (Isaiah 11:9-11).
Thus, there is a second time coming when God will recover the remnant of His people who are left from the islands of the sea.
The word teaches:
The LORD reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad!
Psalm 97:1
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth. Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, And His enemies will lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles Will bring presents...
(Psalm 72:8-10).
Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
(Psalms 59:13)
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

It seems from the above that God gives a special significance for this place. The Lord has been leading Ben to study about the ends of the earth and the southern islands ever since he gave his life to Christ. Afterwards, during a period of 13 years, he built two 16 passenger schooners especially for missions to the south seas Islands. By Gods' will not ours, we came to Puerto Williams at the "uttermost part of the earth" aboard the Schooner VICTORY on January 10, 1991. We know the Lord sent us and our family (3 girls) here where we have lived for 18 years for HIS purposes. We hope to be able to do the Lord's will here using a system of Meraki Free Internet evangizing method. And the flaming flame shall not be quenched.
